Using Motor Scout
You must be legally able to enter a contract and use the service lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access or rate limits, automate abusive requests, submit malicious content, or misuse information about other people.
Vehicle information and availability
Listings, prices, mileage, options, history signals, availability, seller claims, and market estimates may come from third parties and can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. A result is not a guarantee that a vehicle remains available or satisfies every search requirement.
AI-assisted research
Some searches and reports use automated or artificial-intelligence-assisted analysis. Outputs can contain errors. Motor Scout identifies evidence gaps where practical, but customers must verify important facts directly with the seller and qualified professionals.
No substitute for inspection
Never rely on Motor Scout as a substitute for reviewing title and ownership documents, obtaining an independent pre-purchase inspection, checking recalls and liens, confirming insurance and financing, and verifying the vehicle and seller before sending money or traveling.
Transactions with others
Any vehicle purchase, deposit, negotiation, financing, shipment, inspection, or other transaction is between you and the applicable third party. Motor Scout does not guarantee sellers, vehicles, inspectors, carriers, lenders, or transaction outcomes.
Paid services
Prices and deliverables shown at checkout apply to that order. Human-review timelines are estimates unless confirmed otherwise. Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy.
Intellectual property
Motor Scout’s branding, site design, software, and original report presentation are protected materials. Third-party listing text, photos, trademarks, and data remain the property of their respective owners.
Warranty and liability
The beta service is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or a successful vehicle purchase. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Motor Scout is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the service or a vehicle transaction.
